The NFL will officially announce the 2026 NFL regular season schedule at 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, May 14. Leading up to that, we will use this as a schedule tracking post for any rumors and leaks that come out ahead of time for your Cleveland Browns.

2026 Browns Schedule Tracker

Thursday

12:15 PM: After missing out on prime time games a season ago, it’ll be interesting to see if the league schedules any for Cleveland this year, especially since they don’t have an international game. Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh are already confirmed for several prime time games, but nothing for Cleveland yet.

12:09 PM: As the day goes on, you can do some process of elimination when it comes to some potential opponents. The Bengals will host the Ravens in an AFC North Battle on New Year’s Eve for Thursday Night Football. Could that mean that Cleveland then gets the Steelers in Week 17, and either the Bengals or Ravens in Week 18?

12:06 PM: The NFL got serious with its Thanksgiving slate of NFL games this year — holy cow, are these some high stakes, playoff caliber matchups all loaded into the holiday. Additionally, there is a Thanksgiving Eve game this year on a Wednesday. Cleveland is not involved in any of them, obviously.

12:02 PM: To keep track of things, here’s what we have so far for the Browns, which are all road games:

Week 1: Browns @ Jaguars
Week 5: Browns @ Jets
Week 8: Browns @ Steelers
Week 15: Browns @ Giants

8:30 AM: The first AFC North game reported, right after Halloween and right before the NFL trade deadline, and PAYBACK with the matchup coming right after the Steelers get back from their international trip:

8:28 AM: 2 New York games this year, but not back-to-back:

8:26 AM: Getting to look a lot like (almost) Christmas in the (almost) Big Apple:

9:28 PM: First schedule leak for the Browns is Week 1 versus the Jaguars, on the road:

9:20 AM: Officially, no international games for Cleveland this year:

8:28 AM: I have been told twice that the Browns are starting the season against the Ravens. Neither from a team or NFL source worthy of a full write-up or report.

7:00 AM (Wednesday): Good morning, Browns fans! We’re kicking off the schedule tracker a day early this year. The rumors and leaks will certainly be more rampant on Thursday, but we’ll still track down any nuggets related to the Browns’ schedule, starting with this one: Cleveland has the lowest strength of schedule for the upcoming season (which theoretically means they have the easiest set of opponents):

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Browns have +125 odds to win 7 games or more in 2026, and have +1600 odds of winning the AFC North.
