Following another great year of high school basketball, the 2025-26 Pennsylvania Sportswriters’ have been released with four Beaver Valley players earning all-state plaudits, while one coach took home player of the year honors.
The selection of Beaver Valley products on this year’s all-state team features players who went on to help lead their respective teams to WPIAL and state championships and another who will go on to play Division I college basketball.
Here is a look at this year’s all-state teams.

About: After spending three years at Aliquippa, Pratt earned first-team honors in Class 5A and has been named to an all-state team for the third consecutive season. Despite missing a considerable amount of time with an injury, Pratt averaged 25 points and helped Lincoln Park qualify for the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the WPIAL playoffs following a two-win campaign last year.

About: After a capping off a standout high school football career, Goode took his talents to the hardwood and led Aliquippa back to the WPIAL championship game where he put up 30 points in the team’s win over South Allegheny. He also surpassed a career milestone in the first round of the PIAA playoffs against Cranberry, reaching 1,000 points in his high school career.

About: Sewickley Academy’s “Twin Towers”, Adam Ikamba and Mamadou Kane headline the Class 2A all-state team, with Kane earning player of the year and first team honors, while Ikamba earns second team plaudits. Kane averaged 12.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game, leading the team in rebounding. Ikamba averaged 13.3 points per game, a team high, helping the team go undefeated against Pennsylvania competition. Head coach Mike Iuzzolino earns coach of the year honors in his second year with the program. He led the team to a WPIAL championship and back to the PIAA title game for the second-straight season. The team avenged its loss in the state championship game, knocking off Old Forge 52-36 for its fourth state title. Iuzzolino guided Sewickley Academy to a 30-1 campaign, with its one loss coming in overtime against Roselle Catholic in the final game of the regular season.
