SOFTBALL

Notre Dame 13-8, De Pere 11-7

DE PERE – The Tritons built a 13-3 lead before the Redbirds rallied for eight runs in their half of the sixth inning in the first game.

Notre Dame was led by Ella Nowak, who had three hits including a double. Emma Ciak had two hits and two RBIs, Kaia Waldrop had two RBIs. Addyson Simpson had a double and two RBIs. Brynn Broekman had two hits.

Natalie Piper and Payton Spaeth both had three hits for De Pere. Emma Baugnet had a home run and drove in four runs.

Aubrey Wycoff got the win for Notre Dame.

Brooke Destache took the loss for De Pere.

In the second game, Notre Dame snapped a 7-7 game by scoring the winning run in the seventh inning.

Jocelyn Mueller and Olivia Waldrop both had two hits for Notre Dame. Waldrop drove in three runs. Mueller had a double. Kaia Waldrop had a triple.

Sienna Arendt had four hits and drove in two runs for De Pere. Bella Robinett and Payton Spaeth both had two hits.

Wycoff got the win for Notre Dame.

Morgan Schmidt took the loss for De Pere.

Green Bay Preble 15-17, Sheboygan North 0-0

SHEBOYGAN – The Hornets scored 11 runs in the second inning in their win over the Golden Raiders.

Gracie Day had two hits, including a double and a home run, and drove in five runs for Green Bay Preble. Kayley Kuehn, Tenley Kuehn, Bella Smits, May Darmawan and Hannah Von Haden each had two hits.

Kuehn and Ayla Rozz both drove in two runs for Preble.

Kuehn allowed no hits and no walks while striking out seven batters in the three-inning game.

In the second game, Green Bay Preble scored 13 runs in the first inning in the win.

Callie Schauer had three RBIs for Preble. Ella Nelson and Darmawan both drove in two runs. Van Haden and Chloe Savage each had two hits.

Macy McCoy pitched for Preble and allowed two hits and two walks while striking out three in the three-inning game.

Ashwaubenon 4-13, Green Bay Southwest 0-0

GREEN BAY – Gracie Aichele and Addison Allen combined to pitch a two-hitter and lead the Jaguars to the win over the Trojans in the first game of the Fox River Classic Conference doubleheader.

Aichele pitched the first four innings and allowed two hits while striking out eight. She got the win for Ashwaubenon. Allen pitched the final three innings, giving up no hits and striking out six.

Aubrey House had a triple for Ashwaubenon while Aichele and Ashley Woodworth both had doubles.

Audrey Nelson had two hits, including a triple, for Green Bay Southwest.

Hannah Dunlap took the loss.

In the second game, Ashwaubenon scored seven times in the first inning and cruised to the win over Green Bay Southwest.

Ashwaubenon finished with 14 hits, while Green Bay Southwest did not get a baserunner.

Bay Port 8-11, Manitowoc 5-8

SUAMICO – The Pirates built an 8-2 lead through five innings in their win over the Ships in the first game.

Bay Port finished with nine hits.

Manitowoc, which had eight hits, got two hits each from Chloe Schroeder, Anya Hall and Sam Raymaker.

Hayden Erdmann took the loss for Manitowoc.

In the second game, Bay Port trailed 2-0 when it scored nine runs in the fifth inning of its win over Manitowoc.

Bay Port collected 13 hits in the game.

Manitowoc was led by Raymaker with two hits and three RBIs. Taylor Peterson had two hits, with a double for Manitowoc.

West De Pere 12-10, Pulaski 6-2

PULASKI – The Phantoms jumped out early, scoring five runs in the second inning in their win over the Red Raiders in the first game of the doubleheader.

West De Pere had 16 hits in the win.

Pulaski was led by Bailey Hronik and Ella Maroszek, who both had three hits. Maroszek drove in three runs and had a double. Kieara Altman had two doubles.

In the second game, West De Pere continued its hot hitting against Pulaski pitching, getting 11 hits and breaking open the game with a four-run fourth inning.

Molly Molthen had a double for Pulaski.

Sevastopol 18-16, Sturgeon Bay 0-1

STURGEON BAY – The Pioneers had 15 hits and took advantage of five walks, two hit batters and four errors by Sturgeon Bay in the first game of the doubleheader.

In the second game, Sevastopol scored four runs in the second inning and then broke open the game with 10 runs in the third in the win.

Sevastopol had 11 hits in the second game and also drew 13 walks.

Genevieve Austad had two hits in the second game for Sturgeon Bay.

Three Lakes/Phelps 16, Wausaukee 7

GILLETT – The Rangers scored five runs in the first inning but the Blue Jays scored three in the second and five in the third on the way to the win.

Wausaukee was led by Josie Seehawer, who had three hits including a triple, and four RBIs. Coreen Schneider also had three hits for Wausaukee.

Poynette 11, Oconto 0

OCONTO – The Pumas scored nine runs in the second inning to break open their game with the Blue Devils.

BASEBALL

De Pere 6, Kimberly 5

KIMBERLY – The Redbirds built a five-run lead in the fifth inning and then withstood a Papermakers rally to get the nonconference win.

A Will Nikolay triple scored a run for De Pere in the first inning and Rory Obma’s second-inning double added another run.

Kimberly scored a run in the fourth before De Pere scored four in the fifth.

Kimberly rallied in its half of the fifth with a grand slam by Maddux Hermus.

Ryan Martin had two RBIs for De Pere.

Beckett Hermus had two hits for Kimberly, while Lex Knaebe, Brady Merzlicker and Pierson Hacker each had a double.

Kasen Gregoire got the win for De Pere.

Hacker took the loss for Kimberly.

Luxemburg-Casco 8-11, Freedom 1-4

FREEDOM – The Spartans scored two runs in the first inning, three in the fourth and three in the seventh in the victory in the first game of the North Eastern Conference doubleheader.

Gavin Lax pitched 6⅔ innings to get the win. He allowed four hits, one run and struck out six.

Hudson Billings, Noah Chervenka and Eli Derenne hit home runs for Luxemburg-Casco. Chervenka also had a double and drove in three runs. Billings had two RBIs.

Gavin Brennenstuhl had two hits and an RBI for Freedom.

In the second game, Luxemburg-Casco scored five runs in the fifth inning and six in the sixth to pull off the sweep of the twinbill.

Lax had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for the Spartans.

Ethan Engum pitched 4⅓ innings to get the win. He allowed four hits, two runs, walked one and struck out four.

Chase Calmes had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Freedom.

Wrightstown 5-2, Oconto Falls 4-3

OCONTO FALLS – The Tigers scored four runs in the seventh inning to rally for the win over the Panthers in the first game of the doubleheader.

Bennett Stengel and Ryan Leahy both had two hits for Wrightstown (7-11, 7-8).

Landon Delfosse had three hits, including a double, for Oconto Falls (10-8, 7-7). Dom Triechel had two hits, including a double.

Jacob Miller pitched a complete game for Wrightstown to get the win. He allowed four runs on 10 hits.

Carter Heroux took the loss for Oconto Falls.

In the second game, Oconto Falls snapped a 2-2 score with a run in the sixth inning.

Ttrace Brehmer had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Oconto Falls.

Michael Besel had two hits for Wrightstown.

JJ Pytleski pitched a complete game and got the win for Oconto Falls. He allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks. He struck out two.

Liam Schaumberg took the loss for Wrightstown.

Denmark 5-16, Medford 1-9

MEDFORD – The Vikings’ Cade Delarwelle pitched a complete game go lead Denmark to the win over the Raiders in the first game of the doubleheader sweep.

Delarwelle allowed one run on two hits and five walks while striking out nine Medford batters.

Braedon Heezen hd two hits and scored twice for Denmark. Delarwelle had two hits.

In the second game, the game was tied 5-5 when Denmark scored nine runs in the sixth inning to break open the game.

Denmark had 11 hits in the second game.

Pulaski 20, Pardeeville 6

PULASKI – The Red Raiders scored eight runs in both the first and second innings in the win over the Bulldogs.

Braun Wotruba had four hits with a double, a triple and a home run, scored four times and drove in six. Eddie Van Roy and Benjermin Marsh both drove in three runs. Eli Heuser had two hits. Mason Heintz drove in two runs.

Gavin Luebke pitched three innings and got the win for Pulaski.

St. Mary’s Springs 7, Pulaski 3

PULASKI – Gavin Sikorski had two hits and drove in two runs in Pulaski’s loss to the Ledgers.

Eli Heuser also had two hits for Pulaski.

GIRLS SOCCER

Oshkosh West 2, West De Pere 0

OSHKOSH – The Wildcats got a pair of goals from McKenzie Blair in the win over the Phantoms.

Sophie Kalka had two saves for Oshkosh West.
