HBO is releasing a new docuseries following the United States Men’s National Team throughout their journey to the 2026 Los Angeles World Cup. The first episode of “U.S. Against the World: Four Years with the Men’s National Soccer Team,” released on Tuesday.

Produced by Park Stories, the original docuseries will have four more episodes released weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7 pm PST leading up to the tournament.
The first episode is titled “The Golden Generation”, and it follows rising American stars such as Christian Pulisic and Tyler Adams as they battle for a spot in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The USMT ultimately finished the 2022 tournament in the Round of 16 after losing 3-1 to the Netherlands.
USMT World Cup Schedule
The USMT will play two of its group stage games at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and will play the second group stage game at the Lumen Field in Seattle.
As part of Group D, the United States will open the tournament against Paraguay on June 12 then face off with Australia in the second game in Seattle on June 19. The USMT’s final group stage game will be back in Los Angeles against Turkey on June 25.
