Gary Neville has echoed Manchester United fans’ recent concerns over Amad Diallo’s form.
When the forward squandered a chance towards the end of the first half, Neville reacted on commentary, saying: “He’s really struggling.”
It does, unfortunately, seem to be a prevalent issue for Amad as of late.
He has yet to return a goal or assist this calendar year, with his most recent coming in the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth, which marked the Ivorian’s final game before jetting off to the African Cup of Nations.
Michael Carrick has seemingly been mulling over what to do with Amad, too, as for the last four matches, he has granted the attacker just 175 minutes of action; two of those outings were for only 45 minutes each.
