The 2025-26 athletic year was all about the Mountain West against the Pac-12.
It played out on the fields and courts as schools leaving for the Pac-12 in 2026 played their final season in the Mountain West.
It also played out in the court system as the two leagues battled over exit fees and penalties (which might be finally near a resolution).
