As Indiana (2-2) prepares to host the newly minted WNBA expansion franchise, Portland Fire (2-2), tonight from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever revealed a very promising injury report on Tuesday night that should bode well against a feisty Portland squad.
According to the Fever’s injury report, there are no players listed for tonight’s game, indicating that center Aliyah Boston and forward Makayla Timpson will likely return to action from their respective ailments.

Boston, who missed her first-ever professional game on Sunday with a lower leg injury suffered in the Fever’s May 15 loss against Washington, was a full participant in Tuesday’s team practice and even said confidently that her latest setback was minor in nature.
As for Timpson, who took a hard incidental hit from Seattle’s Jade Melbourne on Sunday, the second-year star out of Florida State was also a participant in Tuesday’s practice.
Steph White on Makayla Timpson, who left the game late on Sunday after hitting her jaw: “She seems good to me. She’s KK, she’s like the Terminator. She said she’s good to go.”
Timpson participated in early defensive drills during practice today.

Boston’s return will be much-needed defensively against a Fire squad that scores 45.1% of its total points from within the paint, while Timpson’s availability fortunately avoids what could have been a strain on the Fever’s frontcourt depth.
Tipoff between the Fever and Fire from Gainbridge Fieldhouse is set for 6 p.m. CT, and the game will air on USA Network.
