Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has never been one to rest on his laurels. So, following what might’ve been the best season of his 10-year NBA career, the five-time All-Star announced on his Twitch stream on Sunday night that he intends to get even better.
“I’m still looking to continue to improve,” he said while livestreaming to over 2,000 viewers. “I feel like I’m coming into my prime. My mind, my body, my athleticism are all coming together. So I’m excited to see what I can do and where I can go with it. I don’t think I’ve reached my limit yet.”

But how does Brown plan on reaching a new peak? He said that he plans on improving his efficiency and getting in the gym with some NBA greats, including 11-time All-Star and current Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden, two-time MVP Steve Nash, 1994 MVP and two-time NBA champion Hakeem Olajuwon, and 2004 MVP and Celtics legend Kevin Garnett.
While Brown didn’t specify what he’ll take from each player, he could get some ball-handling help from Nash and Harden. Moreover, Olajuwon and Garnett could offer advice on how to best work in the post.
“We got to put in the work,” Brown stated.
Shortly after name-dropping these basketball greats, Brown learned that he was selected to the All-NBA Second Team for the 2025-26 season. The five-time All-Star received the sixth-most First Team votes of any player, coinciding with his sixth-place finish in MVP voting.

Brown was honored by this All-NBA achievement, which was a testament to his strong season that, despite an unceremonious exit from the 2026 NBA Playoffs in the first round, was one for the history books.
“I’m grateful,” he said. “It’s a blessing.”
