Every player enters a new season with individual goals and expectations, but Jaylinn Hawkins made it clear that winning football games remains the biggest priority for him entering 2026. Hawkins wants to continue improving personally while also helping Baltimore compete for a championship. That type of mentality is exactly what the Ravens want from veteran additions entering the locker room, especially on a team with legitimate Super Bowl expectations this season.
Could Hawkins’ mindset fit perfectly into the culture Baltimore has built over the years?
During his appearance on The Collective podcast, Hawkins explained how he approaches both personal and team goals heading into his first season with the Ravens.
“Personal is always do yourself. And as a team, collectively is to win games. And you know those are the two goals man… outdo your previous self man day in and day out connect with the guys and win games… cuz nothing is better than winning… the winning vibe is crazy and it’s contagious. So that’s all I look to do try to help this team do for real.”
Hawkins also described winning as contagious, which says a lot about the type of environment he wants to help create in Baltimore. The Ravens clearly believe he can contribute to that championship mentality both on and off the field this season.
