Kansas State football, Collin Klein beat Michigan State for 2027 DB

MANHATTAN — Kansas State football has landed its fourth commitment of the week, beating out Michigan State for a cornerback out of Georgia.

George Murray III announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Tuesday, June 2. He’s a 5-foot-11, 175-pound defensive back who plays his high school ball at Apalachee High in Winder, Georgia.

Murray is days removed from an official visit to Manhattan. Other schools in pursuit of the defensive back include Northwestern, Georgia Southern, Troy, Jax State and others. The Wildcats offered him in mid-May and quickly closed the deal.

Murray isn’t currently ranked on any of the major recruiting websites, though that could change soon.
