Ja’Kobi Lane is a different type of character, and two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson appears to already be embracing one of the newest additions to the Baltimore Ravens offense. Jackson reposted a viral video from the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event featuring several members of the rookie class, including Makai Lemon, Taylen Green, and others, voting Lane as the player with the best end-zone celebration, the class clown, and the rookie most likely to go viral.
The repost from the two-time NFL MVP quickly caught the attention of Ravens fans and added even more intrigue around Lane before training camp begins. Lane entered the league with plenty of buzz after a standout collegiate career at USC, where his size, athleticism, and personality helped make him one of the more recognizable receivers in the draft class. Now, it appears Jackson is already taking notice of the rookie’s charisma and confidence.

For Baltimore, the excitement surrounding Lane extends beyond social media moments. The Ravens continue searching for additional playmakers to complement Jackson and stretch defenses vertically alongside the team’s established offensive weapons. Still, moments like this matter inside locker rooms. Veteran quarterbacks often gravitate toward younger players who bring energy, swagger, and personality to the building, and Jackson reposting the clip is another sign that Lane is quickly making an impression before ever playing an NFL snap.
If the rookie wide receiver can back up the viral personality with production this summer, he could become one of the more talked-about newcomers on Baltimore’s roster heading into the 2026 season.
