Lions schedule release video: ‘Strictly business’ in 2026

The NFL’s official schedule release day is a full-on event nowadays.

As a matter of fact, the whole week is an event as fans and reporters work to track down leaks and concrete details of their favorite team’s schedule.

And, of course, teams really let their creative juices shine with their social media schedule release videos. The Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans were among the franchises that earned top marks from ESPN for their 2026 schedule release videos.

After a frustrating 2025 season, Lions fans had to be fired up about the direction Detroit took in its schedule release video. No pomp. No circumstance.

On a post captioned “strictly business,” the camera shows parts of the Meijer Performance Center as clips from national media question whether or not Detroit has lost its way and if the Lions’ championship window has closed.

Calmly, cooly, Lions head coach Dan Campbell walks out of his office and pins up the Lions’ 2026 schedule onto the bulletin board.

The message is clear: Bulletin board material received, and the Lions aren’t interested in grabbing your attention with jokes on social media.

It’s strictly business heading into 2026 in Detroit.
