The footage shows the Manchester United defender greeting other high-profile figures during the presentation.
However, he then appears to bypass the US president before collecting his runners-up medal.
Most of Argentina’s players shook Trump’s hand during the ceremony.
Lionel Messi was among those who greeted him while receiving a medal.
As a result, Martinez’s actions quickly attracted attention online.
Supporters have debated whether the defender deliberately refused the handshake or simply missed Trump during a busy presentation.
Neither Martinez nor Manchester United have addressed the incident.
Trump had already received a mixed reaction inside the stadium.
Sections of the crowd booed when he entered the pitch alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
He later presented the World Cup trophy to Spain before briefly remaining near the players during their celebrations.
Infantino then appeared to guide him away from the podium.
For now, it remains unclear whether Martinez intentionally refused Trump’s handshake.
