The Louisville Cardinals took a second-round exit in the 2026 NCAA Tournament to the Michigan State Spartans. What’s clear for Pat Kelsey’s team is there will be some newcomers to the program next season.

Louisville finished the season at 24-11 with seven losses in ACC play. One of the biggest unknowns at this point is who will replace Mikel Brown Jr., who is projected as a top-ten NBA prospect. He was the biggest contributor to Louisville’s success, but missed the postseason due to injury.

Here’s where things stand with the Cardinals in the transfer portal.

According to On3, Louisville was one of the most active teams with several outbound players in the first day of the transfer portal.
