The Denver Broncos‘ 2026 NFL schedule was released earlier this month, and it appears to be one that will make them work. In Week 1, they will face the Kansas City Chiefs. Week 2 will be against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Weeks 3 and 4 will be against the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers, respectively. For the first quarter of the season, the Broncos may have their hands full.
Mike Florio and Chris Simms on Pro Football Talk recently discussed the brutal undertaking the Broncos will face in the 2026 NFL season. With the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks rounding out Weeks 5 and 6, Simms believes the Broncos have one of the most brutal and demanding schedules within the NFL.
By week 9, the Broncos will have played six playoff teams from last season, and the Kansas City Chiefs twice. Although the Chiefs did not qualify for the postseason, a healthy Patrick Mahomes will never let the Chiefs be an easy out.
Check out what else Florio and Simms think about the Broncos’ schedule and how they should handle it below.
