HOOVER, AL — Mississippi State baseball won its first game of the SEC Tournament to reach the quarterfinals.
The No. 8 seed Bulldogs (40-16) took down No. 16 Missouri 12-2 in a seven-inning run rule win in the second round on May 20.
Next, they’ll play No. 1 seed Georgia (43-12) on May 21 (3 p.m., SEC Network).
MSU got swept by Georgia at Dudy Noble Field April 2-4.
When is Mississippi State baseball vs Georgia?
Mississippi State versus Georgia in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals is at 3 p.m. CT on May 21. It is the first of two SEC Tournament games for the day.
The winner will play in the semifinals on May 23 at noon.
