Welcome to the 2026 Transfer Portal season.
The portal is officially open and the information is about to start flowing.
We’ve got an amended roster count, and it’s a lot lighter than it was just a few days ago. That isn’t a surprise, the portal is easy to get into. For players, coaches, and fans. Here’s where the roster stands (I’ll do my best to keep this part updated:
UPDATE WEDNESDAY APRIL 29 | A name! We have a new name. Missouri has been in contact with Weber State point guard Tijane Saine, Jr. He was a 17.5 ppg scorer after spending his first three seasons (one redshirt) at a D2 school.
UPDATE SUNDAY APRIL 26 | Portal movement has come to a near screeching halt as coaches try to figure out what the NCAA is going to do with a 5 by 5 vote happening on Monday. There have been a few players come off the board in recent days, since the last update Jalen Reece committed to Texas A&M (reported got north of $2 million), Jalen Cox pledged to USC, among others. We’ve added Ethan Copeland to the board, a point guard from Stetson.
UPDATE TUESDAY APRIL 21 | Mizzou has reached out to Campbell combo guard Jeremiah Johnson. And as of midnight tonight, the portal is officially closed.
UPDATE APRIL 14-20 | Bryson Tiller and Jamier Jones committed to the Tigers. While Jasper Johnson committed to Oregon, Money Williams committed to Boston College, and TJ Burch landed at Utah. Missouri is surveying their options at guard, there was reported contact with Jacksonville State transfer Jaye Nash, but most of their other activity has been kept under wraps.
UPDATE APRIL 7 – 13 | Jaylen Carey committed to the Tigers in the first week, giving Dennis Gates his first signing of the spring. Past that it was mostly quiet with the Tigers only being attached to three reported players in the first few days, James Madison forward Justin McBride, Utah guard Terrence Brown, and Chattanooga guard Jordan Frison. We’ve also added Cruz Davis, a combo guard from Hofstra, and Christian Harmon a wing from Arkansas State to the list. Christan Hammond (different Christian) committed to NC State today. Mizzou was connected to Jalan Haralson and Aidan Sherell, as well as Bryson Tiller and Jamier Jones.

If something is shared publicly (via Twitter, BlueSky, Instagram) we will add it to this post. There are sites where you can pay for and sub and get more information, if you want more you can subscribe to them. I encourage anyone reading this post to understand the stance I’m taking here because following recruiting is hard work and the reason those things are paywalled is because of the amount of work that goes into following it and reporting on it. I believe if you are that passionate about following it you should support that work. That includes all the linked sites above, even the ones I’m not a part of.

We expect Missouri to be far more active in the Transfer Portal this year versus last. A year ago they were looking to supplement their younger talent and build around Mark Mitchell. This season, it’s all about Jason Crowe, Jr. So the roster spots available may be limited. We have a transfer portal primer, and a roster math post, both to break down where things stand.
We will also have far more information available at Rockm.Plus. To be frank, if you’re a portal junkie like we are, it makes a lot of sense to the day-to-day or hour-by-hour tracking to join us over there. This post will be updated frequently, but we’ll have more intel available on the Forums.
It’s important to keep in mind ‘Contact’ below doesn’t necessarily mean anything serious as those can come from agents trying to pump their client up.
