New York Giants open rookie minicamp

The New York Giants kick off their three-day rookie minicamp on Friday with practices running through Sunday.

Friday and Sunday sessions are closed to the public and media, while Saturday’s practice will be open for media viewing.

On Saturday, head coach John Harbaugh, assistant general manager Brandon Brown, and select players are scheduled to meet with reporters.

The camp gives the team its first on-field look at the 2026 NFL draft class and undrafted free agents as they begin installing the playbook and competing for roster spots.

The Giants announced Thursday that they had signed four 2026 draft picks to rookie contracts: Third-round receiver Malachi Fields, sixth-round defensive lineman Bobby Jamison-Travis, sixth-round offensive lineman JC Davis, and sixth-round linebacker Jack Kelly.

Six undrafted free agents also signed.

First-round selections Arvell Reese and Francis Mauigoa, along with second-round pick Colton Hood, remain unsigned but are still eligible to participate.

The minicamp also features tryout players and roster-eligible veterans, offering the coaching staff an early evaluation opportunity ahead of organized team activities.
