Newcastle have made the perfect start to their Premier League clash against West Ham.
The Magpies took the game straight to the Hammers and broke the deadlock after just 14 minutes.Â
And it was a rare scorer who put Newcastle ahead as Nick Woltemade was well-placed to volley home from Harvey Barnes’ cross, ending a 17-match goalless streak.
In addition, England hopeful Barnes continued an excellent solo campaign, registering his 22nd goal contribution of the 2025-26 season.
Things got even better for Eddie Howe’s outfit just four minutes later, after William Osula drilled a deadly finish under Mads Hermansen.
