The New York Giants on Saturday selected BYU linebacker Jack Kelly in Round 6 of the 2026 NFL Draft, 193rd overall.

Barring an unlikely trade back into the seventh round, this will be the Giants’ final selection of the draft.

Kelly was a fourth-round value on the Big Blue View Big Board.

In his draft guide, Dane Brugler of The Athletic says:

Growing up as a champion BMX racer, Kelly developed a fearless competitive drive that translates well to the football field. He does a terrific job playing with speed to the perimeter and is getting better at throttling down in space, although he still overruns angles at times. His hunting skills as a blitzer create mismatches within pressure packages. NFL scouts call him the “toughest player on the team” and love his leadership. Overall, Kelly has explosive speed and plays both instinctively and physically against the run, although his stiff movements could limit his upside in coverage versus NFL athletes. At the very least, Kelly will be a
et positive in the locker room and a force on special teams.
