The Chicago Bears conducted their fifth voluntary practice of OTAs on Wednesday, which was the second one open to the media.
With the media in attendance at Wednesday’s session, there were some observations from the second week of OTAs. That included some notable absences as well as quarterback Caleb Williams showing off his arm talent, as well as his young cast of weapons, including receivers Luther Burden III and Zavion Thomas, as well as tight end Colston Loveland, having big days.

Chicago Bears OTA Practice Takeaways
▪️ Luther Burden looked good. Made a couple plays in tight coverage and continues to show up when he gets opportunities.
▪️ Colston Loveland looked smooth. Had a couple nice plays and looks noticeably bigger. Easy movement for his size.

1- Rome Odunze ton of targets. Ball was flying all over the place.
2- Dan Roushar worked diligently on specific hand placements with the O-line, Darnell Wright.

1. Kalif Raymond is very short! I knew he was a smaller Receiver, and he’s listed at 5’8, but I’m taking the under on that. He’s really fast though.

When will the Bears conduct OTAs?
The Bears will hold seven voluntary OTA practices from May 27-29 and June 2-4. That will be followed by veteran minicamp from June 9-11 before breaking for the summer.
