Oregon and Oregon State will renew their football rivalry

Oregon and Oregon State soon will resume their football rivalry.

The Ducks and Beavers, won’t play each other in 2026 or 2027, but announced May 26 they’ve scheduled four games between 2028-2032.

The first game will be in Corvallis at Reser Stadium on Sept. 16, 2028, and the Ducks will make the short road trip again for a game on Sept. 11, 2032.

Oregon State will play at Autzen Stadium on Sept. 15, 2029, and in the 2031 season-opener on Aug. 30.

There will be no game in 2030.

In order to accommodate the addition of the Oregon State game in 2029, Oregon’s game against Utah State that season has been moved from Sept. 15 to Sept. 8.

The game formerly known has the Civil War has been played 129 times, including over 80 consecutive years since a series pause in 1943 and 1944 during World War II.

The first game was in 1894 and the last was Sept. 20 of last season when the Ducks won 41-7 at Autzen Stadium. Oregon leads the series with a 70-49-10 record.
