Pair of hat tricks send Eaton Rapids girls soccer to regional final

EATON RAPIDS 7, GROSSE ILE 2

ANN ARBOR — Kennedie Crow and Remie Ellis each had hat tricks while helping the Greyhounds to a Division 3 regional semifinal victory over Grosse Ile. Chloe Look added the other goal, while Addy Schultz had two assists for Eaton Rapids (14-7-1). Delaney Collins and Crow each added an assist for the Greyhounds, who advance to face No. 3-ranked Detroit Country Day in a regional final at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 4 at Ann Arbor Huron.

MASON 2, FARMINGTON HILLS MERCY 0

YPSILANTI — Making their third regional appearance in five seasons, the Bulldogs picked up their first win in the second stage of the MHSAA tournament by knocking off Farmington Hills Mercy in a Division 2 semifinal. Mason (11-4-4) advances to a regional final on Thursday, June 4 where it will face No. 6-ranked New Boston Huron.

OVID-ELSIE 3, SHELBY 0

CADILLAC — The Marauders (16-7) have reached a regional final for the second time in three years after their Division 4 regional semifinal victory over Shelby. Ovid-Elsie advances to face Harbor Springs in the regional final on Thursday at Cadillac.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS MARIAN 2, DEWITT 0

WATERFORD — The No. 5-ranked Panthers bid for a third straight regional title ended with a setback to No. 4-ranked Marian in a Division 2 regional semifinal. DeWitt closes the season with a 17-2 record.

ROYAL OAK SHRINE 4, BATH 2

The Bees (15-2) had their season end with a Division 4 regional semifinal loss to Royal Oak Shrine.
