It’s been a rough few months for Phil Foden. The Manchester City star has been struggling for form and had lost his place in the team due to the emergence of Rayan Cherki.
But against Crystal Palace this evening, Foden gave us a little reminder of the superb talent he possesses when he’s on.
With City struggling to find a way through the Palace low-block, some creativity was certainly needed.
Up stepped Foden to slide Antoine Semenyo in behind with a delicate back-heel assist to unlock the Palace defence.
And with that assist, Foden hit a new milestone in sky blue, securing his 100th Premier League goal contribution.
A superb moment for the local lad as he looks to rediscover his form!
