POSTGAME: Phoenix Mercury DROP 5th Straight Despite a BETTER Defensive Performance

The Phoenix Mercury have now lost five straight games and sit at 2-7 after another loss to the New York Liberty. The frustrating part? Phoenix did a lot of things well enough to win. Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper each scored 15 points, the Mercury forced 17 turnovers, and held New York under 70 points deep into the fourth quarter. But poor shooting, a massive rebounding deficit, and another offensive drought proved too much to overcome.

Erika, Stephen & Gil break down what went wrong against the Liberty, whether this losing streak is exposing bigger issues, and what the Mercury need to fix before the season slips away.

Welcome to PHNX Mercury, where we make it more fun to be a Mercury fan!
