PSG rival Liverpool’s Yan Diomandé interest

Liverpool are well placed in the race to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé (19), however, they may yet face competition from reigning European champions, Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from The Athletic.

Liverpool are in the market for a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who, on Sunday, will make his final appearance for the club. The Merseyside club have set their sights on Ivory Coast international Diomandé, who, following last summer’s move from Leganés, scored 13 goals and registered 10 assists in 36 games in all competitions for RB Leipzig.

As per The Athletic, RB Leipzig are wanting a fee north of €100m. Liverpool are in a strong position when it comes to reaching an agreement on personal terms, the publication adds. However, PSG are looking to add another forward this summer, and whilst they also have their eyes on other targets, they are also contenders to sign Diomandé.
