Reds fans are eating good thanks to Tyler Stephenson.
When the Cincinnati Reds throw 11 strikeouts in a game, LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria gives every fan with a game ticket a free small, one-topping pizza. Up 7-2 in the top of the ninth after strong pitching performances, the Reds were sitting at 10 Ks against the visiting Rockies − and fans were holding their breath to see if free pies were in their future.
Brock Brooke came in for relief and threw a fastball to the top right corner on a 2-2 count. A called ball, catcher Stephenson quickly used the new ABS challenge effectively.

Stephenson’s second successful challenge of the game struck out Colorado’s Eduoard Julien and sent Great American Ball Park into a frenzy.
Cincinnati went on to secure a 12th strikeout in the 7-2 victory. The Reds improved to 19-10, staying atop the NL Central with a 1.5-game lead over the Chicago Cubs. An 8-2 run over the past 10 games has the Reds near the top of the MLB power ratings.
Fans who attended April 28 can claim their free pizza within seven days of the game. The LaRosa’s website lets you submit the 12-digit code from a game ticket to receive a coupon via email.
