Rodgers has yet to tell the team whether he plans to return, and recent reports indicate the team has become increasingly frustrated with the future Hall of Famer and may have even set a deadline for him to make a decision.
There have also been rumors and speculation that the Arizona Cardinals may be in the mix, too, but according to NFL insider Mike Florio, there hasn’t been any interest from the Cardinals or Rodgers about him playing there.
Florio said it wouldn’t make sense for Rodgers to play for the Cardinals this late in his career, especially if he wants to win another Super Bowl before he retires.
The Steelers may be closer to making that happen more than the Cardinals are at the moment.
But who knows what this meeting could be about? All will be revealed at some point, and Steeler fans hope it will be good news.
