Osimhen has long been at the centre of transfer speculation and has already made headlines in recent weeks with growing speculation surrounding his future.

Despite attracting strong interest from several top clubs in the summer of 2024, including a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, the Nigerian striker chose to remain in Europe and initially joined Galatasaray on loan before the move was made permanent last summer in a Turkish record €75 million deal.

That decision has paid off for the 27-year-old who has continued to shine in Turkey and has scored 57 goals from 72 appearances across all competitions, including 20 in the current campaign.

Premier League giants Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring his situation and even had sporting director Andrea Berta in attendance to watch the 27-year-old in action against Fenerbahce on Sunday, where he scored in a 3-0 win.

Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked with a move, as both clubs look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season.

Galatasaray reveal stance on Victor Osimhen

<figure class=”wp-block-image size-full”><img decoding=”async” width=”4256″ height=”2832″ src=”https://www.afrik-foot.com/en-ng/thumbor/Kk8-pFpb1_gOGWPvqbVkr-OtKHQ=/4256×2832/smart/filters:format(webp)/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.afrik-foot.com%2Fen-ng%2F2026%2F03%2Fimago1071124240.jpg” alt=”Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen” class=”wp-image-909109″/>
Victor Osimhen.
According to Erdem Açikgöz on X, Galatasaray are not open to offers for Victor Osimhen and currently have no intention of selling him this summer. Cimbom consider him untouchable, dealing a major blow to teams who had been hoping to secure his signature.

The only scenario that could change that stance is if Osimhen himself pushes for a move. However, that appears unlikely at the moment, given how settled he is at the club and the strong connection he also has with the fans.

Osimhen is also tied down at Galatasaray until 2029, which gives them more authority over the future of the Super Eagles star. However, both parties will now continue their journey together into next season, with the 27-year-old content on staying at the club.

Galatasaray can also focus on strengthening their squad during the summer transfer window, as they look to maintain their domestic dominance and also mount a serious challenge in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Osimhen, meanwhile, will now be aiming to help Galatasaray secure a fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title this weekend when they face Samsunspor, knowing that a win would seal the title once again.
