Salahdine Parnasse made his North American debut Saturday on the Rousey vs. Carano main card and made quick work of Kenny Cross, finishing the fight with punches at the 4:18 mark of Round 1. The lightweight bout took place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif..
Parnasse (23-2) overpowered Cross (17-5) in the opening minutes, both on the ground and on the feet. Cross found himself in a precarious position on the ground and rallied to rise up to his feet – only to be met by brutal Parnasse combinations. Parnasse ultimately put Cross down along the cage with a punch to the body that ended the fight.

Parnasse (23-2) has held both the KSW lightweight and featherweight titles. The French fighter is considered by many as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters outside the UFC. He has 15 finishes in 23 pro victories.
Cross (17-5) had been on the UFC’s doorstep for years. He entered Rousey vs. Carano having won 11 of hist most recent 12 bouts.
