Running back Josh Jacobs returns to Packers OTAs after arrest, release

GREEN BAY − Josh Jacobs has rejoined the Green Bay Packers and will participate in organized team activities June 2 after his release from Brown County Jail last week, coach Matt LaFleur said.

Jacobs was arrested May 26 on five possible charges involving domestic abuse, including felony strangulation or suffocation. He was released May 27 after Brown County District Attorney David Lasee said he had not decided whether to file charges.

A final charging decision will be made in the future.

In the meantime, Jacobs is around the team and participating on the field.

“I would say business as usual,” LaFleur said when asked about Jacobs’ involvement with the team
