Kadidia Toure arrived as Wisconsin’s clearest plug-and-play frontcourt answer out of the transfer portal, a 6-foot-3 graduate student with one season left and a recent resume that screams immediate production. After stops at James Madison (2022-23) and Arizona State (2023-24 and a brief 2024-25 season), Toure broke out at LIU in 2025-26 as one of the most productive mid-major posts in the country, giving the Badgers a veteran scorer-rebounder profile they have lacked.
Toure averaged 19.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game on 46.9% shooting, earning NEC Player of the Year honors. Her shooting splits included 34.2% from 3-point range and 77.9% at the free-throw line.

That free-throw production and her 100 offensive rebounds stood out as the kind of skill that creates offense through contact and tends to travel, even when the Big Ten’s size and athleticism change the shot diet. The question for Wisconsin is how cleanly Toure can scale up while tightening the rough edges. She averaged 4.1 turnovers and 3.3 fouls per game because high-usage forwards in the Big Ten get punished for loose decisions.

If Wisconsin gets even most of the LIU version, scoring, double-doubles, defensive playmaking, and free-throw pressure, Toure has a path to becoming one of the Badgers’ most important players right away, and the next step is how quickly that physical style translates once she’s facing Big Ten frontcourts every night.
