Seahawks RB Jadarian Price predicted to lead rookies in scrimmage TDs

Will Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price lead all rookies in touchdowns from scrimmage in 2026?

Price was the second running back taken in the 2026 NFL Draft. Seattle went with Price following Zach Charbonnet’s ACL injury in the playoffs last season and the departure of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III in free agency. Seattle will provide Price with ample opportunities to score next season, but he will have other peers in this year’s draft class in favorable situations to do so as well.

According to ESPN’s Mike Clay, Price will finish tied with Arizona Cardinals rookie RB Jeremiyah Love for the most touchdowns from scrimmage next season with nine.

Seattle finished No. 7 in the NFL in total touchdowns last season with 51. The Seahawks scored the seventh-most rushing touchdowns in 2025 with 19.

Price will benefit from being in a Seahawks offense that created many scoring opportunities for their running backs and pass-catchers last season. Surprisingly, Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold did not find either of his two main running backs for passing touchdowns in 2025, but Price will get the chance to change that next season.
