The skinny: After an off week, the Sporting Jax men continue seeking their first victory against USL Championship opposition on their road trip to Loudoun United. … Sporting Jax stands last in the Eastern Conference at 0-11-3 entering Friday’s game, which marks the halfway point in the season. … Goalkeeper Christian Olivares has been forced into 56 saves, 18 more than the next-highest keeper in the league, and Sporting Jax’s 39 goals allowed are also the most in the league. … Loudoun has also struggled this year, winning only once in 13 league games. … Loudoun forward Thorleifur Ulfarsson, originally from Iceland, brings two years of Major League Soccer experience with the Houston Dynamo and is tied for eighth in the USL Championship with six goals.
