The San Antonio Spurs took Game 1 with a 122-115 double overtime thriller over the Oklahoma City Thunder. This marked the fifth win for the Spurs in the season series after going 4-1 in the regular season,  including an NBA Cup victory.

What last night showed the rest of the Western Conference is there might be a shift with San Antonio and Oklahoma City going back-and-forth for a spot in the NBA Finals for years to come. Both teams are young, deep, and well-coached.

Western Conference Finals Game 2 will be on Wednesday, May 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock.
