The results are in for the 2026 Pick-3 draft prediction contest!!

The 2026 Pick-3 draft prediction contest was yet another installment in the history of the annual Hogs Haven draft extravaganza, which had its 10th iteration this year.

After setting an all-time record in 2024 with 98 entrants, the contest fell back to earth slightly in 2025 with 67 entrants. It saw a slight uptick to 72 entrants this year.

A year ago, we had the first-ever tie in the 2025 version of the Pick-3 contest. I should have learned from last year’s 2-way tie and implemented a tie-breaker, but I didn’t.

As a result, this year, we’ve ended up with an unwieldy 5-way tie for first place! If we do this again next year, I clearly need a set of tie-breakers to eliminate the logjam. You guys are getting too good at projecting late-round picks!

The fifteen highest-scoring entrants are listed below.

As always, if I have made a mistake in anyone’s score, please feel free to let me know in the comments or via email and I will adjust your score with apologies. I use a spreadsheet and rely on manual scanning to identify correct answers as my supercomputer is in the shop for repair this week, and mistakes are possible with 72 entrants making 24 predictions each.

Congratulations go out to our five co-winners, all of whom find themselves standing atop this particular podium for the first time in the history of the contest, and all of them having arrived in exactly the same fashion — that is, each of them correctly predicted Sonny Styles in the 1st round and Athan Kaliakmanis in the 7th.

  • Posse 2.0
  • AnacostiaDreamer
  • Maverick1076
  • SlingerOfPoo

Our two ‘silver medalists’ who scored 20 points each correctly predicted a 6th round pick, though one of them predicted Fatman Allen while the other identified Matt Gulbin as a Commanders pick in this round.

Amazingly, both of our bronze medalists predicted Kaliakmanis in the 7th round, but didn’t have Sonny Styles listed in their 1st-round picks.

Our 20-point scorers comprised 3 people who predicted the Gulbin pick and one who projected Kaytron to the Commanders.

A few notes about the scores achieved in this year’s contest:

  • Another 28 entrants got on the scoreboard with 6 points, each of them predicting the Sonny Styles pick in the first round.
  • Two more entrants scored 5 points by listing Styles, but not putting his name in the first round.
  • Three former contest winners managed to place in the top-15

I want to thank all 72 Hogs Haven readers who took the time to put together entries for the Pick-3 contest. It literally couldn’t have happened without you. I hope you had fun and that it added just a little extra spice to your 2026 NFL Draft experience.

As always, the prize for winning this contest is an open invitation to a night out on the town in beautiful Bangkok, Thailand. All any of our five co-winners needs to do is get himself or herself to Bangkok (with at least a week’s advance notice) and I will pay for a night of drinks at the bar(s) of his or her choice. To date, none of the previous winners have claimed their prizes, but they remain valid. This year’s winners do not have to arrive as a group, though they will be welcome if they do. As always, the prize expires when I do.

With six total picks in the 2026 draft, the Washington Commanders added talent to their roster and took another huge step forward in rebounding from the hot mess that was the 2025 season.

The roster-building work isn’t done, however. I look forward to seeing which UDFAs and veteran free agents the team adds in the coming days and weeks as we prepare for another entertaining offseason and the return of great Washington football to follow!
