Tiger Woods is back in the United States.
Woods returned to Florida on Wednesday afternoon after spending a month in a rehab facility in Switzerland following his March arrest, according to TMZ, which released photos of Woods exiting a private jet at Palm Beach International Airport. Woods, 50, was charged with DUI after a rollover crash March 27 near his home on Jupiter Island, Florida.
Woods chose to go overseas for treatment, telling a judge he feared he couldn’t privately get help in the U.S. After a little more than a month in Europe, Woods is back.
Earlier this week, a Florida judge ordered Woods’ prescription records be provided to prosecutors as part of a DUI-related case against the 15-time major champion. That information will not be made public.
Woods is missing this week’s PGA Championship at Aronimink and is not expected to tee it up in the U.S. Open next month, either.
