UFC Macau full fight: Deiveson Figueiredo reclaims flyweight title

Deiveson Figueiredo’s legacy will forever be part of the history of the UFC flyweight division.

Apart from being a defending champion in the UFC’s 125-pound division, Figueiredo had one of the biggest rivalries in the weight class and the only tetralogy in the history of the promotion. Figueiredo fought Mexican star Brandon Moreno four times: the first bout went to a draw, the second Figueiredo lost his belt, the third he reclaimed it, and the fourth bout he lost the title again. It was a fun rivalry many fans enjoyed with some memorable wars.

In the video above, you can watch the third meeting between Figueiredo and Moreno – which is arguably the Brazilian’s best performance in the four bouts.

Figueiredo (25-6-1 MMA, 14-6-1 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 277 (Paramount+) – which takes place at Galaxy Macau in China. He takes on China’s Song Yadong (22-9-1 MMA, 11-4-1 UFC) in a five-round bantamweight bout.
