Alex Perez was unable to continue after Su Mudaerji inadvertently struck him with a low blow at UFC Fight Night 277.
Perez (26-10-1 MMA, 8-6-1 UFC) vs. Mudaerji (19-7-1 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) was ruled a no contest after Mudaerji grazed his cup with a teep kick at the 1:45 mark of Round 2 on Saturday’s main card opener at UFC Fight Night 277 at Galaxy Macau in China.
Perez was in agonizing pain and needed the bucket on several occasions to hurl, before the five minutes expired and he was rendered unable to continue.
Due to an accidental foul, this bout has been ruled a no contest.

Former title challenger Perez was looking to build momentum after snapping a two-fight losing skid with a TKO of Charles Johnson at UFC 324. Meanwhile, Mudaerji was on a three-fight winning streak and eyeing a spot in the UFC’s flyweight rankings.
