“[Run game coordinator/offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford] is energetic, and I’m talking about every day. It’s not just out here. It’s in the meeting room. Whether you’re walking down the hallway with him, he’s always energetic. We’re just talking about different things; more than just ball. It’s a good thing to have in the O-line room, separate ball and life talk-type of things like that, just to clear your mind up a little bit, refresh, reset, things like that. But he’s a phenomenal coach. I’ve been with him for three days now, so I’ve learned a lot from him.”
For Ioane, the early impression is clear—Ledford’s presence extends far beyond technique and scheme. His consistent energy and ability to connect on a personal level are already helping build trust and cohesion within the offensive line room, setting the foundation for both individual growth and collective success in Baltimore.
