Klare is an athletic tight end who is a crisp route runner with strong hands and a clear grasp of the fundamentals. Partnering up with tight ends coach Scott Huff, Klare’s bound to use Huff’s lessons as an offensive line coach to become a better blocker in the NFL, successfully mirroring the run and pass in a way that keeps the Rams at the top of offensive innovation.
A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Klare was a consistent target for both the Purdue Boilermakers and Ohio State Buckeyes. In three seasons of collegiate action, Klare hauled in 116 receptions, 1,329 receiving yards, and six touchdowns.
