The Green Bay Packers supplemented a small, six-player draft class in 2026 with a major financial investment in the undrafted free agent class, which features four players who received at least $200,000 in guaranteed money to sign with the Packers.
All 10 undrafted free agents received at least $5,000 in guaranteed money.
In total, the Packers handed out over $1 million in guaranteed money to the undrafted class.
Leading the way was edge rusher Nyjalik Kelly, who got a $15,000 signing bonus and $247,500 in guaranteed salary. In terms of total guaranteed money, Kelly received almost as much as sixth-round pick Domani Jackson, who got $272,436 guaranteed, and more than sixth-round pick Trey Smack, who got $206,532. Three others — offensive lineman Dillon Wade and Josh Gesky and receiver J. Michael Sturdivant — got $215,000 guaranteed, or more than Smack’s total. All three got a $15,000 signing bonus and $200,000 salary guaranteed.
Money talks, so keep a close eye on Kelly, Wade, Gesky and Sturdivant as the undrafted rookie class attempts to win a roster spot this summer. Kelly and Gesky were among the team’s 30 pre-draft visitors. If nothing else, the Packers expressed their interest in the players with guaranteed money, using the tool to help bring a few draft-quality players to Green Bay early in undrafted free agency.
