The studio panel in Salford today will be headed up by presenter Kelly Cates, fresh from a disappointing night covering Scotland’s loss against Brazil on Wednesday.

She’ll be joined once again by Lucas Leiva, who was in the studio for that game too, along with an English pairing of Daniel Sturridge and Joe Hart.

Hart played 75 times for England and went to four major tournaments as part of the Three Lions’ squad.

He’s become a regular voice on coverage of international football, a world he knows extremely well after a nine-year England career.

The former Manchester City goalkeeper will be on hand to offer his insight on the players between the posts and, more than likely, to add more commentary on the official match ball.

Sturridge, who played with Hart 46 times for England and Manchester City, has been a regular pundit on TNT Sports’ coverage of the European club competitions and will join his former teammate in the studio today.

The English striker played with both of his fellow pundits for Ecuador vs Germany. He and Leiva shared the pitch on 61 occasions for Liverpool and the former midfielder picked up 24 senior caps for Brazil.

Germany have already won Group E but there’s plenty on the line for Ivory Coast, albeit they’ll be glancing nervously in the direction of Philadelphia at the same time.
