CLEMSON — Clemson football held a huge recruiting weekend for the Tigers’ 2027 recruiting class and picked up two commitments.
They landed four-star defensive end Santana Harvey and three-star wide receiver Julian Cromartie on May 29. Harvey, 6-foot-3, is rated No. 284 nationally and the No. 35 edge rusher, according to 247Sports Composite, and recorded 12 sacks in his junior season at Lakeland (Florida) High School.
Cromartie is the son of former NFL defensive back Antonio Cromartie, who spent 11 years in the NFL and was named Pro Bowl four times. Julian Cromartie, 6-2, is the No. 128 wideout in the 2027 class and recorded 824 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns on 42 catches in his junior season at College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas.
The commitments continued the team’s strong recruiting momentum, earning eight commits in 11 days. Coach Dabo Swinney‘s 2027 class ranks No. 13 nationally (second in the ACC behind Miami) with 15 commits, including nine four-star players and six three-stars.
Clemson‘s top pledges are from wide receiver Jamarin Simmons, linebacker Bryce Kish, four-star running back Gary Walker and quarterback Kharim Hughley.
Clemson hosted other four-star recruits who could commit to the Tigers, including safeties Ta’Shawn Poole and Jayden Aparicio-Bailey, defensive end Cahron Wheeler and defensive tackle Seth Tillman.
