Who had the biggest week in Cape Cod and Islands boys lacrosse

Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which boys lacrosse players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winner will be announced on Thursday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Last week’s winner

Parker Philbrick, St. John Paul II

Philbrick won his second his poll of the season with 48% of the votes. He had five goals and three assists in a 10-9 overtime win over Fairhaven.

This week’s candidates

Jack Balfour, Bourne/Mashpee

Balfour finished with five goals and three assists in a 16-3 win over Old Rochester.

Brady Banks, Bourne/Mashpee

Banks chipped in four goals and an assist as the Canalmen defeated Old Rochester.

Oliver Barton, Upper Cape

Barton had three goals, including the winning goal, in a 5-4 overtime win over Old Colony.

Ty Hawkes, Bourne/Mashpee

Hawkes had five goals and one assist as the Canalmen beat Old Rochester.

Gavin Powderly, Falmouth

Powderly made 15 saves in a 10-9 win over Scituate.

Charlie Seitz, Bourne/Mashpee

Seitz recorded five assists in a win over Old Rochester.

Travis Smith, Falmouth

Smith controlled the faceoff as he won 21 draws in a victory over Scituate.
