Evanna Howell, 35, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon serious injury, Cabarrus County records show. A police report states that Howell intentionally hit a 77-year-old man with a golf cart at the race track on May 23, around 1:45 p.m. …
It’s unclear what led to the crash. Howell was released from Cabarrus County jail after posting a $125,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court again on June 16.
