Class 2A
Mattoon Regional
No. 1 Springfield High 7, No. 5 Sacred Heart-Griffin 0
Senior standout Kamryn Hoffman dialed up four goals for a second straight game and the Senators rolled to their second straight regional title.
Hoffman became the first girls soccer player in the IHSA annals to reach 150 goals and 100 assists in a career following the regional semifinal win over Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 19.
Fellow senior Bridget Lyons supplied two goals, while Ainsley Lambert also found the net.
SHS (16-3-1) meets perennial state contender Troy Triad in the Alton Sectional semifinals on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. in a rematch of last year’s supersectional that the Senators won 2-1.
Triad (16-3-2) dispatched Marion 5-1 to advance.
Quincy Regional
No. 2 Chatham Glenwood 5, No. 6 Quincy 1
Nora Gunnerman supplied the opening goal before Caroline Cody added the hat trick for the Titans’ fifth straight regional title.
Leah Bolletta also scored for Glenwood (14-4-7), which advances to the Alton Sectional semifinals against No. 1 Waterlooon Wednesday, May 27 at 4:30 p.m. Waterloo (19-2) also claimed its fifth straight regional title with a win over No. 5 Mascoutah.
Class 1A
Williamsville Regional
No. 1 Williamsville 8, No. 4 Warrensburg-Latham 0
Kendyl Mirabile opened with two goals before Ella Plumb pulled off the hat trick en route to Williamsville’s fifth straight regional crown.
Williamsville (18-5-2) advances to the Rochester Sectional semifinals where it faces the No. 2-seeded hosts on Tuesday, May 26 at 4 p.m.
The Rockets (12-5-3) won the previous matchup 1-0 on April 9. Charli Lowder assisted the lone goal to Kate Gross, while Grace Webb had six saves.
Quincy Notre Dame Regional
No. 2 Rochester 2, No. 3 Quincy Notre Dame 0
Mary Jane Keller opened the second half with the go-ahead assist to Charli Lowder and the Rockets won their third regional title in four seasons.
Keller later used her upper torso to score the insurance goal on an Alaina Stock assist. Rochester allowed just two shots on goal and two corner kicks.

Riverton Regional
No. 1 Pleasant Plains 9, No. 4 Athens 0
Raelyn Brammer registered a hat trick and the Cardinals (22-0-2) romped to an 8-0 halftime lead. Callie Wagner added two goals, while Grace Sabatka, Caroline Willenborg and Bailey Leach also scored in the first half.
Plains, which won its fourth straight regional title, meets Saturday’s winner between No. 2 Decatur St. Teresa and No. 3 Mount Zion in the Rochester Sectional semifinals on Tuesday, May 26 at 6 p.m.
Carlinville Regional
No. 3 Greenville 1, No. 2 Carlinville 0
Emma Veith supplied the lone goal for the Comets’ second regional title in the last three seasons.
Greenville advances to the Litchfield Sectional semifinals against No. 1 Alton Marquette on Tuesday, May 26 at 4 p.m. Carlinville finishes 11-8.
Bethalto Civic Memorial Regional
No. 2 Bethalto Civic Memorial 1, No. 3 Staunton 0
Allie Kamp ended the scoreless tie in the second half to vault Civic Memorial to the Litchfield Sectional semifinals against the winner between No. 1 Litchfield and No. 4 Hillsboro.
Staunton finishes 18-6.
