Tranmere Rovers have said the “process of appointing a new manager is under way” after confirming boss Pete Wild has left the League Two club at the end of his short-term deal.
Wild took over on an interim basis in March after the sacking of Andy Crosby.
Rovers won just one of their 10 games under Wild and avoided relegation by two points.
Adam Temple, who was Wild’s assistant, has also departed.
“We thank them both for their hard work in their time at the club and wish them the best of luck for the future,” the club said in a statement.
