Uruguay crashed out of the World Cup on Friday after goalkeeper Fernando Muslera’s costly error handed Spain a 1-0 victory in Guadalajara, sending the European champions through as Group H winners. Cape Verde also reached the knockout stage after a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia, becoming the smallest nation to do so.
