With O’Shaquie Foster set to defend his WBC super featherweight title against Raymond Ford on May 30 in Houston, both fighters sat down for a face-to-face chat where they would read off some fan questions towards one another. This format led to a quite a bit of bickering between the two men, with Foster ultimately claiming that he’s proven he’s a better fighter than Ford.
“Everybody that I fought, no matter if I’m going to ‘35 or wherever — everybody I fought since 2020, since I cracked the top ten, I fought nobody outside the top five, top three,” Foster said. “When you talk about resume, when you talk about wins and losses, your resume is not even close to mine.”
Both fighters would spend much of the time debating past performances, who has the advantage in speed, power, experience and more. You can watch the full video segment in the link at the top before the two men will be forced to back up their talk in just a couple of weeks from now.
